BoomBoom was the kit suppliers of the Pakistan National Cricket Team during 2011-12. BoomBoom collaborated with me for the design of Pakistan Cricket Team's official jersey for Cricket World Cup 2011. After the successful design of the kit for WC2011, I also worked on proposals for Pakistan Cricket Team's kit for World T20 2012 and Asia cup 2012.
I still regard this project as the most exciting and challenging work I have done thus far. And on top of that, this certainly was a dream come true for me as a passionate fan of Pakistan Cricket team.
BoomBoom's Pakistan World Cup 2011 jersey is one of the most popular jersey in the history of Pakistan Cricket, a statistic backed by the number of sales. We brought back the dark green instead of the lime green kit Pakistan had at that time.
PCB's crest is placed on the chest, digitally printed within the fabric to enhance the performance and aesthetics of the jersey.
A dark-to-light green shade gradation was used as the jersey's base, whereas yellow and white were use as highlighting colors to emphasize certain elements.
The kits are made with Coolmax, a performance enhancing polyester material that absorbs moisture and spreads it over the fabric for rapid evaporation.
These jerseys are specially fitted to individual needs, giving the players a sleek, streamlined look while maintaining optimum performance.
Several proposals for the two mega tournaments in 2012 were pitched to the Pakistan Cricket Board on behalf of BoomBoom, the kit suppliers.
